The latest version of a collaborative work with Shiro Takatani, based on Ryuichi Sakamoto's 2017 studio album "async".This site-specific installation uses the vast space in the basement of the Kyoto Shimbun Building.

An audiovisual experience created by synchronizing video works by groovisions, lighting by Masayoshi Takada, and three-dimensional sound by ZAK.Visitors will be able to enjoy new music written especially for this exhibition in spaces outside of the exhibition rooms.

QUANTUM GHOSTS

The work is performed in the largest exhibition room in the main building, synchronizing sound images played from 20 speakers arranged in 360 degrees with lighting by Masayoshi Takada.

Works by Buffalo Daughter and Seiichi Yamamoto will be exhibited in the same exhibition room on the third floor of the venue.The space is diagonally divided by a special sound-transmitting screen set up opposite each other.ZAK's stereophonic sound and a video installation that expands the image will unfold in the space diagonally partitioned.
